At Easter Seals North Georgia, we want to build a better world where all children can realize their goals, dreams and aspirations. To achieve this vision, we provide:

in-home, family-centered early intervention, and

support to vulnerable and medically fragile children and their parents.

We are able to provide these high-quality services to families in metropolitan Atlanta and North Georgia at little to no cost thanks to the generous donations from people just like you. We need your assistance to provide these life-changing services to children.

Many start with a grim diagnosis but with the extra attention we are able to provide, you would not believe the incredible outcomes that we see! We have found that the earlier a developmental delay or disability is detected and therapy is started, the greater the outcomes for all. Please help provide a place at the starting line for our 3,000 plus children that are in need of the extra assistance. Together, our community will be healthy, educated and prosperous.

Just as the slideshow above shows, our little McKenzie was given little hope when born as a micro preemie baby. She remained in a frozen position until our therapist suggested a brain scan that revealed hydrocephalus - fluid on the brain. Once identified, a shunt was placed behind her ear to eliminate the fluid. After that, she has thrived during her therapy, and has caught up to her peers. Without the extra help, she would not be living the fulfilled life she is destined for today.
